While the College would recommend that you use Onedrive, Office 365 and College e-mail, there are of course a lot of other online resources available that you are welcome to investigate and may well be of benefit to your learning.
Its worth remembering that while you might prefer, say Google Drive to Microsoft 365, many work places still choose to use Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products. Its estimated that 90% of workplaces still do so. This is one of the reasons College advises that you get used to using these digital tools now. At the same time we recognise that many people prefer some of the alternatives and knowing how to use as wide a range of digital tools as possible will be a great help in whatever career you choose.
On the left we've listed 7 digital tools that we think its worth everyone knowing about. There are many, many more out there. We don't aim to provide full instructions on how you use each of these tools, but aim to give you a quick overview of what they do.
